Mounting & Attachment
This base uses the same twist-lock suction mechanism, finished with a thin layer of adhesive bonded directly to the cup rather than a plain rubber face. The adhesive bridges the gap on textured or slightly uneven surfaces, such as vehicle dashboards, where a plain suction cup would not seal reliably on its own.
Arm Length & Ball Joint System
A long double-socket arm connects the base to the head, extending the device further from the mounting point. The added reach makes it easier to bring a screen or scanner into a comfortable line of sight or arm’s reach. It uses Dura Arms’ standard 1-inch ball-and-socket system, which gives smooth, tool-free adjustment through the full range of the arm while keeping the assembly light enough for handheld data capture devices and scanners.
Head & Device Fit
The head is an all-steel cradle sized for compact handheld data capture terminals. Its metal build is made for demanding environments, such as warehouses, logistics hubs, and industrial floors, where a plastic cradle would wear out faster.
