Mounting & Attachment
The steel adapter base plate is built for permanent installation: it is screwed directly to a flat surface, giving the whole arm assembly a rigid, high-stability foundation that resists vibration. It suits POS counters, kiosks, and fixed workstations where the mount never needs to move.
Arm Length & Ball Joint System
A long double-socket arm connects the base to the head, extending the device further from the mounting point. The added reach makes it easier to bring a screen or scanner into a comfortable line of sight or arm’s reach. It uses Dura Arms’ standard 1-inch ball-and-socket system, which gives smooth, tool-free adjustment through the full range of the arm while keeping the assembly light enough for handheld data capture devices and scanners.
Head & Device Fit
The head is a steel cradle sized for medium handheld data capture terminals. Rubber inserts along the cradle stabilize the device’s pistol-grip handle and flex to match its shape, holding the terminal steady without marking the housing.
