The Dura Arms Mount – Suction cup with adhesive – Balls 1″ – Short arms + Steel Tablet Mount combines Dura Arms’ modular mounting components into a single ready-to-order configuration, built around a Adhesive Suction Cup (Dashboard Mount) base, short arms, 1″ balls, and the Steel Tablet Mount head.
Mounting & Attachment
This base uses the same twist-lock suction mechanism, finished with a thin layer of adhesive bonded directly to the cup rather than a plain rubber face. The adhesive bridges the gap on textured or slightly uneven surfaces, such as vehicle dashboards, where a plain suction cup would not seal reliably on its own.
Arm Length & Ball Joint System
A short double-socket arm connects the base to the head, keeping the mounted device close to the mounting point for a compact, low-profile footprint, while each ball joint still allows independent tilt and rotation. It uses Dura Arms’ standard 1-inch ball-and-socket system, which gives smooth, tool-free adjustment through the full range of the arm while keeping the assembly light enough for handheld data capture devices and scanners.
Head & Device Fit
The head is a steel bracket with spring-loaded edge clamps that hold a tablet firmly from both sides. It is built for point-of-sale, kiosk, and countertop tablet setups that need a stable, vibration-resistant grip.
