Description

The Dura Arms Mount – Steel adapter – Balls 1.5″ – Long arms + Steel Tablet Mount combines Dura Arms’ modular mounting components into a single ready-to-order configuration, built around a Steel Adapter base, long arms, 1.5″ balls, and the Steel Tablet Mount head.

Mounting & Attachment

The steel adapter base plate is built for permanent installation: it is screwed directly to a flat surface, giving the whole arm assembly a rigid, high-stability foundation that resists vibration. It suits POS counters, kiosks, and fixed workstations where the mount never needs to move.

Arm Length & Ball Joint System

A long double-socket arm connects the base to the head, extending the device further from the mounting point. The added reach makes it easier to bring a screen or scanner into a comfortable line of sight or arm’s reach. It steps up to the thicker 1.5-inch ball-and-socket system, which increases the clamping surface and holding torque at each joint. This size is recommended whenever the head or device adds extra weight, or the mount is used in a higher-vibration environment.
