Duratis TPU Cases protect flat, smartphone-shaped mPOS terminals and handheld computers from drops, knocks and scratches. A slim alternative to bulky rugged cases, they fit tightly and shield the housing from dust, dirt and everyday wear, helping the device stay in good condition for longer.
TPU Cases are used in retail, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, transport, courier services and field service – wherever devices are used intensively throughout the working day.
TPU is a firm, resilient material that keeps its shape, so the case sits securely on flat, smartphone-shaped devices. Some models have a rigid plastic back for extra stiffness.
| Way of working | Recommended setup |
|---|---|
| Device used at one point, e.g. a counter or service desk | TPU Case – protects the housing and gives a secure grip |
| Scanning or taking payments while holding the device | TPU Case with a hand strap – the device stays in your hand, even when you let go |
| Moving between tasks, both hands needed | TPU Case with a DURA Holster – the device rests at your hip between uses |

It depends on the device. TPU Cases suit flat, smartphone-shaped devices – they are firmer, fit tightly and hold their shape. For payment terminals with a built-in printer or a thicker housing, a Silicone Case is usually the better choice.
“Rubber case” is a common name for flexible protective cases. Our cases are made of TPU – a firm, resilient material that keeps its shape and fits the device tightly.
The lifted edges help protect the screen if the device is dropped. For full protection against scratches and cracks, combine the case with a Displayschutzfolie.
